Explore Long Beach
These days, everyone is looking for an adventure to take them outside to experience the real world. LB Scooters was born out of that feeling, bringing an activity that dances on the line of self-expression and adrenaline. Whether you’re looking for a vintage ride to match your unique style or a Vespa to cruise the coast, we can provide exactly what you’re looking for.
And what better city to cruise through than Long Beach! This city brings people from all walks of life together to live in 50 square miles of beach, business, and suburbia. We may be a little biased, but we think that the absolute coolest way to explore The City is on two wheels. So turn the page to see a few of the spots we think you won’t be able to resist once you hit the road.
The Lighthouse
The historic Lion’s Lighthouse has stood strong on Shoreline Park for 20 years and its mission to aid the visually impared shines strong too. This is the perfect place to swing by for a quick Instagram pic or to stop by for a picnic in the park.
Surrounding The Lighthouse are plenty of places to grab some food like The Yardhouse, Tequila Jack’s, and Gladstone’s. Plus, you could hit The Pike nearby for some shopping to boost your moped fashion game. Pro Tip: Behind the Long Beach Convention Center is an open street called E Seaside Way if you need some driving practice without any cars around.
Queen Mary
Originally built in Scotland in 1936, The Queen Mary sailed her last voyage in 1967, finally landing and being permanently moored in Long Beach. This ornate ocean liner now hosts restaurants, a museum, a hotel, and a 1930’s-themed bar for a classy drink at night.
You can grab a photo from the parking lot with this classy cruiser in the background to show you’ve really been all over Long Beach. Make sure to come back on Halloween for a haunted tour of The Queen Mary, which may be why the hairs on the back of your neck stand up as you drive off (or it could just be the rush of the ride)!
